Pallava Dynasty
(275CE – 897CE)
The Pallavas appeared as a mighty power in
the south in 275 CE and reached their zenith in the 7th century AD. They were able to
maintain their hegemony for about 500 years. They built huge cities, centers of education,
temples, and Sculptures and influenced much of the culture of
Southern Asia.

The founder of the Pallava Dynasty was Singha Vishnu who was said to be a very efficient and strong conqueror and ruler. After the death of Singha Vishnu, His son Mahendravarman, Succeeded hum and ruled from about 571 AD to 630AD.
The Pallava dynasty was a dynasty of ancient South India that established its kingdom in Kancheepuram in the 4th century and then ruled Tamil and Telugu for about 600 years.
