 Talking about India's tourism, there are many things in India, which we will see one by one then ages will pass, but not all will be able to see. Today we talk about the Seven Wonders of the World, but do you know that there are many such wonders in India which are almost impossible to build even today? i.e Ellora and Ajanta Caves, Brihadeeswara Temple,  Konark etc.

Hill stations, sea beaches, deserts, pilgrimages, water falls, historical monuments, forts, palaces, rivers, lux rich wildlife, temples, caves, etc. are all available to be seen in Indian tourism. The most important thing is that more than 100 Dyansties have ruled in India and everyone has made something different which is impossible to make even today. Each dynasty is known for its advanced architecture. If you want to visit India, then you will definitely feel a different experience by visiting the ancient temples here, which you will not find anywhere else.


Types Of Tourism In India

India's tourism is divided by region. India has 6 regions... North India Tourism, South India Tourism, East India Tourism, West India Tourism, North East India Tourism and Central India Tourism.You can enjoy adventure, tracking, Golden Dessert, wildlife tourism, cultural tourism, beach tourism in india etc.
India's vast coastline and islands provide ample opportunities for recreational tourism. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Mumbai,  Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep Islands attract a large number of tourists from all over the world throughout the year.
So let's first talk about North India tourism.

1. North India Tourism:- Northern tourism covers Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and Rajasthan. 
Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh for Hill Stations, Snowfall, Trekking and Religious places. The beauty of snowfall here is famous all over the country. Shimla, Manali, Kulu in Himachal and Patnitop, Katra Vaishno Devi, Srinagar, Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Pahalgam etc. are famous in Jammu and Kashmir.
Amritsar in Punjab is famous all over the world, recently the Golden Temple has made a Guinness world record, the most visited place in the world.
Rajasthan is also called "Land of Kings". Alwar called gateway city of Rajasthan, Mount Abu is the one and only hill station of Rajasthan.


2. South India Tourism:-  South India is known for its rich heritage and eternal culture. You will find the oldest temples in the whole of India in South India. Here you will get to see one of the oldest temples which are still standing after thousands of years. In which Brihadeeswara, Airavatesvara, Shore Temple etc. will be seen. Food like Dosa, Idli is famous in South India.

3. West India Tourism:- Gujarat and Maharashtra comes in West India. Mumbai is the largest city in India in terms of economy and GDP. Mumbai is also known as Gateway of India. The startup of Marathas also started from Maharashtra. Here you will find Oldest Forts, Temples and many other tourist pluses.

4. East India Tourism:- States like West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa come in the East Region.Tourism dominates here too. Talking about tourist places, Kolkata, Darjeeling is also known as the Queen of Himalayas, Konark Sun Temple Orissa, Kurseong – Land of White Orchids, Jagannath Puri, Nalanda, Vaishali, Jonha Falls and Dasam Falls.

5. North East India Tourism:- States like Sikkim, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh come in North East India. Here you can go for adventure and hill station, trekking. The main places to visit here are Kaziranga National Park Assam, Tsomgo Lake Sikkim, Ziro Valley Arunachal Pradesh, Nohkalikai Falls Meghalaya, Ghorichen Peak, Umiam Lake, Cherrapunji, Siang River is famous for rafting

6. Central India Tourism:- Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh come in the Central India region and it is also considered a tourist hub. In Central India Gwalior, Jhansi, Khajuraho, Bhimbetka, Pench National Park, Mandu, Sanchi, Shivpuri, Varanasi, Ujjain, Amarkantak, Kedar Nath, Badrinath, Panch Prayag, there are countless places like this, if you have time to go.
